    The Anne Arundel Society for Human Resource Management (ASHRM) is a volunteer-led organization of dedicated Human Resources (HR) professionals and strategic partners. We proudly serve businesses, individuals, and the broader community in and around Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

    We are an affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and a member chapter of the Maryland SHRM State Council. ASHRM is committed to advancing the HR profession at the local level. In recognition of our impactful programs and services, we were honored with the SHRM Excel Silver Award in 2018.

    We are dedicated to promoting inclusion and equity within our membership and the organizations our members serve. Our aim is to support professional development through education, information-sharing, community service, and the exchange of best practices.

    Known as one of the friendliest SHRM chapters in Maryland, we take pride in fostering a welcoming and engaging environment where everyone can connect. Membership in ASHRM is rooted in collaboration, community, and the shared commitment to helping one another grow.
